I am Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Minho. I obtained the PhD in Mathematics in 2008 at the University of Minho, the MSc in Statistics in 2003 at the University of Porto and the Licenciatura in Mathematics - Applied Mathematics in 2001 at the University of Porto.
My research topics and interests include: Mathematical Modelling, General Relativity, Mathematical Physics, Risk Theory, Decision Theory, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics and Music.
