The One Day Meeting on Statistics and Applied Probability 2021 is organized by the CMAT-SAPOR of the Centre of Mathematics at University of Minho. It is dedicated to topics of Bayesian Statistics, Epidemiological Methods, Extreme Values Analysis, Generalized Linear Models, Spatial and Temporal Modeling and Survival Analysis. A short-course on Machine Learning will be lectured by João Gama (U. Porto) and Bruno Veloso (U. Porto) on November 4th.
With this workshop we intend to promote the interchange of ideas and collaborations between national and international researchers, giving the possibility to interact with some of the experts in these fields.
