UNESCO proclaimed, in November 2019, March 14 as the International Day of Mathematics. This choice was motivated by the fact that this day was already celebrated in many countries as Pi Day (this date is written as 3/14 in some countries and 3,14 is an approximation to the constant Pi).
This day is celebrated annually by OutLab and CMAT Junior Group, and since 2022, it has been incorporated into CMAT Labs Fest, an initiative involving all CMAT Labs. The event typically features talks delivered by both students and professors aimed at promoting Mathematics within the academic community. Additionally, various activities are offered to university students, and eventually extended to high school students, fostering engagement and interest in the subject.

In 2020, CMAT didn't participate in the celebration because of the pandemic.
