Resumo:  Inventory modeling plays a crucial role in managing stock levels while addressing the inherent uncertainties in demand and supply. This mathematical approach enables businesses to optimize their inventory management by balancing key variables such as demand forecasting, lead time, order quantity, and safety stock. By integrating statistical methods and optimization techniques, inventory models help minimize the costs associated with holding excess inventory or facing stockouts. The presentation explores the fundamental concepts of inventory modeling, including the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), safety stock calculations, and demand forecasting techniques, offering a structured approach to managing uncertainty in inventory systems.
